Pick Your Own Persimmons

Pick-your-own sessions are offered every day throughout the month of May and into early June subject to fruit availability.

**Bookings are essential as places are limited.**

• Session times are 10am, 12pm and 2pm
• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session time. 
• No dogs are allowed on the property. 
• Wheelchair-friendly fruit picking is available - please notify us when booking. 
• If you are later than 20 minutes for your booking start time (without prior notification), your booking will be canceled, and no refunds will be given.
  
  

The two-hour window provides plenty of time to register your arrival, collect your re-usable picking bag and cutting snips, and to walk into the Orchard. You will be provided with a site induction and directions on where to go for the best fruit and what to look for.

We include one sample of fruit for initial tasting, but we do require that all other fruit picked be weighed in for payment.

Once you have completed your picking, we ask that you make your way back to the registration area for fruit to be checked out. At this point, we also ask that you return your cutting snips before the next session begins.

Keep your printed hessian picking bag for future use.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer picnic or park facilities. Should you wish to spend more time in the area we recommend Galston reserve and picnic shed across the road or Fagan Park just past the village of Galston.

$14.50 per person (12+ yrs) – includes on-site parking, re-usable hessian Persimmon Place picking bag, cutting snip rental and fruit sample.

$5.00 per child ( 5 - 11 years old)

$8.00 per kilo for all fruit picked.
